Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Do Not Disturb (DND) silences alerts, letting only urgent ones through. If your TAB 8 NXTPAPER 5G isn't receiving notifications or messages, check settings or disable DND.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Sound and vibration
    Do not disturb
    .
  3. Do either of the following:
    • To activate / deactivate immediately, tap the
      Turn on now switch
       to turn on or off.
    • To manage a Do not disturb schedule:
      • Tap the switch to the right of the preferred schedule(s) to turn on or off.
      • To edit an existing schedule, tap the schedule name then configure as desired (e.g., Days, Start time, etc.).
      • To create a new schedule, tap
        Add schedule
