Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Display size and text, Sleep, etc.) on your TAB 8 NXTPAPER 5G, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness:
      1. Drag the
        Brightness slider
         to the preferred setting.
      2. Tap
        Adaptive brightness
         to turn on or off.
    • To adjust display / font settings:
      1. Tap
        Display size and text
        .
      2. Drag the
        Font size slider
         to the preferred setting.
      3. Drag the
        Display size slider
         to the preferred setting.
      4. Tap
        Bold text
         to turn on or off.
      5. Tap the
        Back arrow icon
         to return to the Display settings screen.
      6. Tap
        Sleep
         then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.).
      7. To control what happens when the phone is charging, tap
        Screen saver
         then select an option (e.g., Colors, Photo Table, etc.).
      8. Tap the
        Back arrow icon
         to return to the Display settings screen.
