Before you begin
Ensure a secure screen lock (e.g., pattern, PIN, etc.) is set up.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
- Do one of the following:
- For first-time setup:
- Review the info about Fingerprint Unlock then tapI agree.
- Using onscreen prompts as a guide, lightly touch thefingerprint sensoron your device multiple times to scan your fingerprint.
- TapDone.
- To add more fingerprints:
- TapAdd.
- Using onscreen prompts as a guide, lightly tap thefingerprint sensoron your device multiple times to scan your fingerprint.
- TapDone.
- To remove fingerprint(s):
- Tap theTrash iconto the right of the fingerprint you wish to remove.
- TapDelete.
