Manage Wireless Emergency Alerts

Emergency alerts keep you updated on situations like severe weather, public safety threats, AMBER alerts, etc. Set your motorola edge to receive only the alerts you want.

Before you begin

National alerts can't be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Wireless emergency alerts
    .
  3. Tap
    Allow alerts
     to turn on or off.
  4. While on, tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • AMBER alerts
    • Public safety messages
    • State and local tests
  5. Tap
    Vibration
     to turn on or off.
  6. Tap
    Alert reminder
     then select an option (e.g., Once, Every 2 minutes, etc.).
  7. Tap
    Spanish
     to turn on or off.
