Switching to a new device, traveling, or troubleshooting a connectivity issue? Learn how to quickly and easily insert or remove the SIM card for your motorola edge.

Before you begin

Ensure the device is powered off.
Don't try to insert or remove the SIM card while your motorola razr is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and / or the device.

Steps

  1. Using the provided tool, pop out the SIM card tray, located on the bottom edge of the device, then do one of the following:

    • To insert the SIM card, ensure the gold contacts are facing up, then press in on the card to lock it into place.
    • To remove the SIM card, insert the tool into the hole on the back of the tray to pop out the card.
  2. Push the tray back into the device.
