One Talk T77LTE Smart Desk Phone
Check Internet Connectivity

Your One Talk T77LTE smart desk phone requires an internet connection to function. Follow these steps to confirm your phone is connected and ready for use.

Before you begin

The following is provided for informational purposes only. Contact your IT admin to verify the following info.
Verifying the IP address on the desk phone ensures the phone is communicating with the router; this doesn't necessarily mean the phone has access to the internet. See One Talk Ports and Protocols for correct internet settings on the router and desk phone.
If the desk phone doesn't display an IP address, contact your IT admin to ensure the desk phone is allowed to communicate over the business network.

Steps

  1. Check for proper installation:
    1. Ensure the phone is properly plugged into a functional AC outlet.
    2. If configured in LAN mode:
      1. Ensure the Ethernet cable is plugged into the Ethernet port on the back of the phone or you're connected to a Wi-Fi network.
      2. If not receiving an IP address from the router, try using a different Ethernet port.
      3. Ensure the switch or hub in your network is operational.
  2. From the idle screen, tap
    Menu
    .
  3. View the corresponding 'IPv4 Status' or 'IPv6 Status' WAN IP value.
Confirm the IP Address with your system admin.
  4. If necessary, change the IP settings on the device to use only IPv4:
    1. From the idle screen, navigate:
      Menu
      Network
      .
    2. Using the keypad, enter the admin password.
      Default password: @N3ta!k2@2*
    3. Select the appropriate network interface (e.g., PC-WAN Port, Wi-Fi Port, etc.).
    4. Tap the
      IP Mode dropdown box
      then select
      IPv4
      .
    5. Tap the
      Checkmark icon
      to save changes.
