Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your Pixel 10 / 10 Pro / 10 Pro XL makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. Touch and hold an app.
  2. Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto the preferred Home screen.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Select a category then touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen.
  5. If applicable, tap more options to activate the widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. Do one of the following:
    • To add a folder:
      1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an app (e.g., My Verizon).
      2. Drag-and-drop the app onto another app (e.g., Gmail).
      3. A unnamed folder containing the shortcuts is created; to rename the folder:
        1. Tap the folder.
        2. Tap the
          Title bar
           at the bottom of the open folder.
        3. Enter a name then tap the
          Checkmark icon
          .
    • To remove a folder:
      1. Drag the apps out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, app, etc.).
  2. Drag-and-drop the item onto 'Remove' at the top of the screen.

Set Wallpaper

  1. Touch and hold a blank space on a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Wallpaper & style
    .
  3. Tap
    More wallpapers
     then select the desired wallpaper category from the available folders (e.g., My photos, Landscapes, etc.).
  4. Select an image then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Select from the following tabs on the Preview screen to review:
    • Home screen
    • Lock screen
  6. Tap
    Apply
     to confirm.
