Manage Hotspot SettingsTurn on the hotspot feature for your TCL K33 5G to share mobile data with other devices. Set up the network name, password, and security type to enhance security.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- TapSet up Mobile Hotspot.
- From the Setup Mobile Hotspot screen, configure the following as needed:
- Network name
- Hide my device
- Security (e.g., None, WPA2-Personal, etc.)
- PasswordThe new password must be entered on the connecting device.
- Tap the Password field to remove the existing password.
- TapSave.
- Show password
- AP Band (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)
- Maximum connections (e.g., 1 user, 8 users, etc.)
- To allow or deny users, do one of the following:
- From the Connected Users section, tapBlocknext to the device you want to disconnect.
- From the the Blocked Users section, tapUnblocknext to the applicable device.
- TapTimeout settingsthen select a preferred option (e.g., Never, 5 minutes, etc.).
- TapSave.
