Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Enabling a SIM PIN provides extra security to your TCL K33 5G, helping to prevent unauthorized use and protect your personal info if your device is misplaced or stolen.

Before you begin

If using a physical SIN card, make sure a 5G SIM card is properly inserted.
Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
If necessary, refer to View SIM Details - ACSS to view or retrieve your customer's SIM info.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Security & privacy
    More security & privacy
    .
  3. Tap
    SIM lock
    .
  4. Tap the
    Lock SIM switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the old SIM PIN (current SIM PIN) then tap
      OK
      .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Enter the new SIM PIN again then tap
      OK
       to confirm.
  6. Enter the SIM PIN then tap
    OK
