Switching to a new device, traveling, or troubleshooting a connectivity issue? Learn how to quickly and easily insert or remove the SIM card for your motorola razr.

Before you begin

Don't try to insert or remove the SIM card while your motorola razr is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and / or the device.

Steps

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Using the provided tool, pop out the SIM card tray, located on the edge of the device, then do one of the following:
    insert SIM card
    • To insert SD / memory card, ensure the gold contacts are facing down, then press in on the card to lock it into place.
    • To remove SD / memory card, insert the tool into the hole on the back of the tray to pop out the card.
  3. Push the tray back into the device.
