Add a Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Using your VPN provider or IT admin's credentials, add a VPN to your motorola razr to encrypt traffic and protect your identity on public Wi-Fi.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Network & internet
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
    .
  4. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap
    Set Lock
    .
  5. From the Name field, enter the applicable name.
    Contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  6. From the Type field, tap the
    Dropdown Arrow icon
     on the right then select the VPN type.
  7. If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the Proxy.
  8. Enter the needed info into the applicable fields then tap
    Save
    .
