Follow these instructions to configure IMAP, POP3 or Exchange® account settings for an email address on your motorola razr that's not serviced by Gmail™.

Before you begin

If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT.

Add a Personal Email Account

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Passwords, passkeys & accounts
    Add Account
    .
  3. Tap 'Personal (IMAP)' or 'Personal (POP3)'.
  4. Enter your email address then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. If presented, enter the applicable info (e.g., SMTP server, port, security type, etc.) then tap
    Next
    .
  7. Configure account options (e.g., notifications, sync, etc.) as appropriate then tap
    Next
    .
  8. Enter an account name if desired then tap
    Next
    .

Add a Corporate Email Account

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Passwords, passkeys & accounts
    Add Account
    .
  3. Tap
    Exchange
    .
  4. Enter your corporate email address then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter your password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. If needed, engage your Exchange / IT admin for extra support on:
    • Email address
    • Server address
    • Domain
    • Port number
    • Username
    • Password
    • Activate device administration
    • Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
