Add / Remove Fingerprint Recognition

Set up fingerprint recognition on your motorola razr for fast, secure access. Remove saved fingerprints when troubleshooting or changing devices.

Before you begin

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Security & privacy

Device unlock

Face & Fingerprint Unlock

Enter the current PIN, password or pattern.

Tap

FIngerprint

then do one of the following:

For first-time setup:

From the Unlock with your fingerprint screen, review the info then tap

Setup

Follow the onscreen tutorial to scan your fingerprint.

Tap

Done

To add more fingerprints:

Tap

Add fingerprint

Follow the onscreen tutorial to scan your fingerprint.

Tap 'Done' if finished or 'Add another' to continue adding fingerprints.

To remove fingerprint(s):

Tap the

Delete icon

to the right of the fingerprint you want to remove.

To confirm, tap
