Customize Your Home ScreenPersonalizing the Home screen on your TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
- Touch and hold the desired app.
- Drag-and-drop the icon onto the preferred Home screen location.
Add Widgets
- Touch and hold an empty area of a Home screen.
- TapWidgets.
- Tap an app (e.g. Calendar, Clock, etc.) to view the available widgets.
- Touch and hold a widget.
- Drag-and-drop the widget onto the preferred Home screen location.
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Files).
- Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Gmail) to create a new folder.
- Do one of the following:
- To rename a folder:
- Tap the folder.
- Tap theTitle barat the bottom of the open folder.
- Enter a name then tap theCheckmark icon.
- To remove a folder:
- Drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears or drag-and-drop the folder onto 'Remove' at the top of the screen.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.).
- When the menu appears, do one of the following:
- To remove an app, release the app then tapRemove.
- To remove a widget, drag-and-drop it onto 'Remove' at the top of the screen.
Set Wallpaper
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank space.
- TapWallpapers & style.
- TapChange wallpaper.
- Select a wallpaper category (e.g., Static wallpapers, My photos, etc.).
- Locate then tap the preferred picture.
- TapApplythen select an option:
- Home screen
- Lock screen
- Home screen and lock screen
