Add / Remove a Wi-Fi ConnectionConnect your TCL 50 XL NXTPAPER 5G to a visible or hidden Wi-Fi network or remove a saved one. This can help with troubleshooting or make it easier to connect to networks you use.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- TapWi-Fi.
- Ensure the Wi-Fi switch is turned on then do one of the following:
- To connect to an Available Wi-Fi network:
- Tap the preferred Wi-Fi network.
- Enter the password then tapConnect.
- To manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network:
- TapAdd network(scroll down if needed).
- From the Network name field, enter the name.
- From the Security field, tap theDropdown menu.
- Tap the applicable security option (i.e., None, Enhanced, WEP, etc.)
- From the Password field, enter the password.
- TapView morethen ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured.
- TapSave.
- Remove a Wi-Fi Connection
- Tap the3-dot Menu iconthen tapManage networks.
- Tap the Wi-Fi network you wish to remove.
- TapForget.
