Switching to a new device, traveling, or troubleshooting a connectivity issue? Learn how to quickly and easily insert or remove the SIM card for your moto g power - 2025.

Before you begin

Don't attempt to insert or remove the SIM card while your moto g power - 2025 is powered on. Doing so may harm the SIM card and / or the device.

Steps

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Using the provided tool, pop out the SIM card tray then do one of the following:
    • Insert SIM card
      Insert the SIM card with the gold contacts down, then gently push the tray into the slot.

    • Remove SIM card
      Once the tray is removed, lift the SIM card from the tray.
      insert SIM card
  3. Push the tray back into the device.
