Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy S24 FE makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove or arrange apps, use widgets or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. Touch and hold an app.
  2. Drag-and-drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Tap the preferred app.
  4. Touch and hold the desired widget to drag it to the preferred Home screen then release.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
  2. Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Calendar) to add an unnamed folder.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To rename the folder:
      1. Tap
        Folder Name
        .
      2. Enter a name for the folder then tap
        Done
        .
    • To remove a folder:
      1. Drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.) until the menu appears then release.
  2. Tap
    Remove
    .

Set Wallpaper

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Tap
    Wallpaper and style
    .
  3. Tap
    Change wallpapers
    .
  4. Tap a category (e.g., Gallery, Graphical, Colors, etc.)
  5. Select a wallpaper image from the list or the preferred picture from your gallery.
  6. Select which screen(s) to apply your new wallpaper (Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and Home screens).
  7. Tap
    Next
    .
  8. Tap
    Done
    .
