Orbic JOY 2 - Manage RTT Settings

Here's how to use the real-time text (RTT) functionality on your JOY 2.
Real-time text (RTT) is text transmitted instantly as it is typed or created on your Orbic® JOY 2. Recipients can immediately read the message while it is being written without waiting or the need for an additional device.

Change RTT Visibility

  1. Open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. Tap the
    Menu icon
     3-dot Menu icon then tap
    Settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Accessibility
    .
  4. Tap
    real-time text (RTT) call
     to turn on or off.

Make a Call with RTT

  1. With RTT enabled, open the
    Phone app
    .
  2. From the Keypad keypad icon, enter a 10-digit number then tap the
    RTT call icon
     .

Switch a Call to RTT

  1. While on a call, tap the
    RTT icon
     .

End an RTT Call

  1. While on a call, tap the
    End icon
     .
