Orbic JOY 2 - Add / Remove Face Recognition

Here's how to set up and remove a facial recognition scan on your JOY 2.
  1. Ensure a secure screen lock is set up on your Orbic® JOY 2.
  2. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  3. Navigate:
    Security
    Face Unlock
    .
  4. Enter the current PIN, pattern or password.
  5. Tap the
    Use face unlock switch
     to turn on.
  6. Do one of the following:
    • For first-time setup:
      1. Tap
        Add face data
        .
      2. Review the info about face recognition then tap
        Continue
        .
      3. Align your face within the circle and follow the onscreen prompts until the process is complete.
      4. Select the options to turn on or off:
        • Spoof detect
        • Easier recognition
        • Eye detection
    • To remove face data:
      1. Tap
        Face Unlock Settings
        .
      2. Tap
        Clear face data
        .
      3. Read the disclaimer then tap
        Clear
        .
