Set Lock Screen Notifications

Choose whether messages and alerts show in full, remain private or stay silent while the screen on your Pixel 9 Pro Fold is locked.

Before you begin

Lock screen notifications are only available if a screen lock is enabled.

Open the

Settings app

Navigate:

Notifications

Notifications on lock screen

Tap the

Show on lock screen switch

to turn on or off.

When turned on, tap any of the following to control what info displays on the lock screen:

Show viewed notification icons

Show silent notifications

Show sensitive content
