Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

By adjusting screen settings (e.g., Brightness, Font style, Screen timeout, etc.) on your Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G Kids Edition, you can reduce eye strain, improve visibility and extend battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Display
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • To adjust brightness:
      1. In the Brightness section, slide the
        blue bar
         left or right to adjust the amount of brightness.
      2. Tap
        Adaptive brightness
         to turn on or off.
    • To adjust font settings:
      1. Tap
        Font size and style
        .
      2. Tap
        Font style
         then select an option (e.g. Default, SamsungOne, etc.).
      3. Drag the
        Font size dot
         left or right to adjust the font size.
      4. Tap the
        Bold font switch
         to turn on or off.
      5. Tap the
        Back arrow
         to return to the Display settings screen.
    • To adjust screen timeout / screen saver / screen zoom:
      1. Tap
        Screen timeout
         then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.).
      2. Tap the
        Back arrow
         to return to the Display settings screen.
      3. To control what happens when the phone is charging, tap
        Screen saver
         then select an option (e.g., Colors, Photo Table, etc.).
      4. Tap the
        Back arrow
         to return to the Display settings screen.
      5. Tap
        Screen zoom
         then touch and hold the
        dot
         to drag it to the preferred option.
