Adding a Google™ (Gmail™) account to your Pixel 9 / 9 Pro / 9 Pro XL lets you access email, apps, and services, as well as sync your data across multiple devices.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Manage accounts
    Add account
    .
  3. Tap
    Google
    .
  4. Enter the Gmail address then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
    .
  7. From the Google services screen, tap the
    Use basic device backup switch
     to turn on or off then tap
    Accept
    .
Remove Gmail Account
