 Perform a Gmail Sync

Adjust Gmail™ sync settings on your Pixel 9 / 9 Pro / 9 Pro XL to stay on top of your email in real time. If preferred, you can also manually update your inbox, calendar, contacts, etc.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Accounts and backup
    .
  3. Tap
    Manage accounts
    .
  4. Select the applicable Gmail account then tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Tap the applicable data sync options (e.g., Contacts, Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.) to turn on or off.
    To perform a manual sync, tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then tap
    Sync now
    .
