Manage Battery Saving Settings

Power saving mode helps extend battery life on your Galaxy Z Flip6 by reducing performance and limiting vibration, location services, and most background data.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Battery
    .
  3. Tap the
    Power saving switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. Tap
    Power saving
     then tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Limit CPU speed to 70%
    • Turn off Always On Display
    • Decrease brightness by 10%
    • Set Motion smoothness to Standard.
    • Turn on Dark mode
    • Set Screen timeout to 30 seconds
  5. Tap
    3-dot Menu icon
     then tap
    Adaptive power saving
    .
  6. Tap the
    Adaptive power saving switch
     to turn on or off.
  7. Tap the
    Back arrow icon
     twice to return to Battery settings.
  8. Tap
    Background usage limits
     then tap the
    Put unused apps to sleep switch
     to turn on or off.
