Manage Home Screen Panels

Your TCL TAB 10 NXTPAPER 5G allows you to set a default Home screen panel and arrange your folders, shortcuts and widgets, making your device more efficient and reducing clutter.

Before you begin

The Home screen panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts and widgets.

Steps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe left or right to view the extended Home screen panels.
  2. Do any of the following:
    • To add a panel:
      1. Touch and hold an app.
      2. Drag the app icon to the right edge of the current Home screen.
      3. From the new panel, release the icon onto the preferred location.
    • To remove a panel, remove all items from the unwanted panel.
    • To set the default panel:
      1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
      2. Tap
        Home editor
        .
      3. From the bottom thumbnail images, touch and hold the desired Home screen.
      4. Drag-and-drop the screen to the far left of the current Home screen to set the order.
