If your TCL TAB 10 NXTPAPER 5G drops data connections due to being near a network border, locking onto a specific network can help; however, roaming charges may apply.

Before you begin

This setting is turned on by default and should only be turned off if needed. Turning off this setting may impact the service.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Network & internet
    .
  3. If necessary, select the applicable SIM name (Verizon 1, SIM 2, etc.).
  4. Tap
    Network mode
    .
  5. Tap
    Choose automatically
     to turn on or off.
    If the Choose automatically setting is turned off, follow the onscreen prompts to select an available network.
