Set Date and Time

Keeping the correct date and time on your Galaxy Tab A9+ 5G ensures alarms, calendar and reminders are delivered correctly. Change if the time is incorrect.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    General management
    Date and time
    .
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To use network-provided values, ensure that Automatic date and time and Automatic time zone are on.
    • To adjust manually, turn Automatic date and time and Automatic time zone off then:
      1. Tap
        Set date
        .
      2. Set the date then tap
        Done
        .
      3. Tap
        Set time
        .
      4. Set the time then tap
        Done
        .
      5. Tap
        Select time zone
        .
      6. Tap
        Time zone
         then select the appropriate time zone.
        If necessary, tap
        Region
         then select the appropriate location.
      7. Tap the
        Back arrow icon
         to return to the Date and time screen.
  4. If desired, tap
    Use 24-hour format
     to turn on or off.
