Use the Wi-Fi Health Check in the My Verizon app to find out if your Wi-Fi extender is performing at its best and what steps you can take to improve your Wi-Fi signal.

Before you begin

Wi-Fi Health Check requires the Self-Organizing Network (SON) to be enabled on the router and at least 5 days of data to run.

Steps

  1. Open the
    My Verizon app
    .
  2. Tap the
    Home tab
    .
  3. Depending on your service, tap the
    Home
     or
    5G Home
     tab.
  4. Tap the Wi-Fi extender.
  5. Tap
    Wi-Fi Health Check
    .
  6. Tap
    Run the check
     then follow the prompts.
