GPS location access is needed by some apps on your Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G to provide turn-by-turn directions or share your location, but can be turned off to save battery life.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Location
    .
  3. Tap the
    Location switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. If presented, review the info, then tap
    Close
     or
    Turn on location
     to continue.
  5. If preferred, tap
    Location services
     then select any of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Earthquake alerts
    • Emergency Location Service
    • Google Location Accuracy
    • Google Location History
    • Google Location Sharing
  6. Tap either of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Wi-Fi scanning
    • Bluetooth scanning
