Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto the top of the apps screen, then to the preferred Home screen location.

Add Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Tap a widget category (if available).
  4. Touch and hold the desired widget.
  5. Drag-and-drop the widget pnto the preferred Home screen location then release.
  6. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widgets, shortcuts, folders, etc.).
  2. When the pop-up bubble appears, release the icon then tap
    Remove
    .

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
  2. Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Gmail, Calendar, etc.).
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To rename a folder:
      1. Tap
        Folder name
        .
      2. Enter a name for the folder then tap
        Done
         on the lower right of the keypad.
    • To remove a folder:
      1. the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Set Wallpaper

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Tap
    Wallpaper and style
    .
  3. Tap
    Change wallpapers
    .
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To use an existing wallpaper image:
      1. Tap one of the options (Featured, Graphical, Colors, etc.) then select a wallpaper image from the list.
      2. Select the preferred option (Home screen, Lock screen) then tap
        Next
        .
      3. From the preview screen, tap
        Done
        .
    • To use an image from your gallery:
      1. Tap
        Gallery
        .
      2. Locate then tap the preferred photo(s) to select.
      3. Tap
        Done
        .
      4. If only one image was selected, tap
        Preview
        .
