Move Media Files to / from Computer

Connecting your DuraForce PRO 3 to a computer allows you to move photos, videos, or music to free up storage space or back them up to make sure your files are safe.

Before you begin

If using a Macintosh® computer, additional software is required in order to transfer files.
Pictures, videos or music files can also be transferred to an SD / memory card.

Steps

  1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
  2. If prompted to allow access to your data, tap
    Allow
    .
    1. If necessary, touch and hold the
      Status bar
       (at the top) then drag to the bottom.
    2. From the list of notifications, locate then tap the USB option (e.g., Charging this device via USB, USB for image transfer, etc.).
    3. Select
      Transfer files
      .
  3. From your computer, open File Explorer or Windows Explorer.
  4. Using File Explorer or Windows Explorer, navigate:

  5. Utilize the computer to copy media files between the appropriate folder (e.g., DCIM/Camera, Download, Movies, etc.) on the device and the desired location on the computer's hard drive.
