Perform a Gmail Sync

Adjust Gmail™ sync settings on your Pixel 7a to stay on top of your email in real time. If preferred, you can also manually update your inbox, calendar, contacts, etc.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Manage accounts
    .
  3. Tap the applicable Gmail account.
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Tap the applicable data sync options (e.g., Contacts, Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.) to turn on or off.
    To perform a manual sync, tap the
    3-dot Menu icon
     then tap
    Sync now
    .
