Emergency alerts keep you updated on situations like severe weather, public safety threats, AMBER alerts, etc. Set your Galaxy A14 5G to receive only the alerts you want.

Before you begin

National alerts can't be turned off.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Advanced settings
    Wireless emergency alerts
    .
  3. Tap
    Allow alerts
     to turn on or off.
  4. Select any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • AMBER alerts
    • Public safety messages
    • State and local tests
  5. From the Alert preferences section, tap any of the following switches to turn on or off:
    • Vibration
    • Alert reminder: Select the preferred option (e.g., Once, Every 2 minutes, etc.).
    • Spanish
    • Speak alert message
