Choose whether messages and alerts show in full, remain private or stay silent while the screen on your Galaxy A14 5G is locked.

Before you begin

Lock screen notifications are only available if a screen lock is enabled.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Notifications
    Lock screen notifications
    .
  3. Tap the
    Notifications switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. With the 'Notifications switch' is turned on, configure any of the following:
    • Show content
    • Hide content
    • Show content when unlocked
    • Notifications to show
      • Alert and silent notifications
      • Alert notifications only
