Customize Your Home ScreenPersonalizing the Home screen on your Galaxy A14 5G makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.
Add Apps
- From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Touch and hold an app.
- Drag and drop the shortcut to the preferred Home screen location.
Add Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold an empty space.
- TapWidgets.
- Tap the preferred app.
- Touch and hold a widget.
- Drag the widget to the preferred Home screen location then release.
- If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.
Add / Remove Folders
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
- Drag the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Calendar) then release.
- TapFolder Name.
- Enter a name for the folder then tapDone.
Remove Apps / Widgets
- From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, folder, etc.) until the menu appears then release.
- Tap the applicable option:
- Select
- Remove
- Disable or Uninstall
Set Wallpaper
- From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
- TapWallpaper and style.
- From the Wallpaper and style screen, tapChange wallpapersthen perform one of the following:
- To use an existing wallpaper image:
- Tap any of the following:
- Featured
- Graphical
- Colors
- Select a wallpaper image from the list.
- Select an option (Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and Home screens).
- TapDone.
- If prompted, select an option to change the color palette.
- To confirm, tapApply.
- To use an image from your gallery:
- TapGallery.
- Locate then select the preferred picture.
- Select an option (Home screen, Lock screen, Lock and Home screens).
- TapPreview.
- TapDone.
- To use a Wallpaper service:
- TapWallpaper services.
- TapDynamic Lock screen.
- TapApply.
- Select an image then tapDownload.
- To only download when connected to Wi-Fi, tapUsing Wi-Fi only.
