Turn Automatic Updates On / Off

Configuring automatic updates for the Verizon Cloud desktop app on your Mac® or Windows® computer means you'll always have the latest features and security without having to update manually.

Steps

  1. Open the Verizon Cloud desktop app using one of the following methods:
    • Select the
      Cloud icon
       in the system tray (lower-right, Windows) or menu bar (upper-right, Mac).
    • Search for
      Verizon Cloud
       in your application list.
  2. Tap the
    3-dot Menu
     then navigate:
    Settings
    Other Settings
    .
  3. Select the
    Automatically update switch
     to turn on or off.
    If this setting is turned off, you must manually select
    Update
     when a new Update available notification appears.
