Google Pixel Phones
Remove eSIM Profile

Removing an eSIM on your Google Pixel smartphone can help with connection issues. Remember, you'll need to download a new one to reconnect to the Verizon network.

Before you begin

The following Pixel phones don't support Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS) or eSIM:
  • Pixel Phone by Google
  • Pixel 2 / 2XL
  • Pixel 3 / 3XL
  • Pixel 3a / 3aXL
Removing a cellular plan doesn't cancel your service. To cancel your service, contact your carrier.
In order to see the eSIM options, the device must be running the current software version.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    System
    Reset options
    Erase eSIMs
    .
  3. Tap the eSIM you want to remove.
  4. Tap
    Erase
    .
If the eSIM profile is removed from the device, you'll need to contact Verizon to have a new eSIM profile reserved.
