Set Up Speed Dial

Setting up speed dial entries on your One Talk T5xW series IP desk phone allows you to call important phone numbers quickly and easily.

Before you begin

If desired, a speed dial number can utilize pause dialing. This is useful for navigating interactive menus automatically.

Steps

  1. From the idle screen, long press the desired line key.
  2. From the Type field, select
    SpeedDial
    .
    For T53W and T54W models, use the
    left and right arrow keys
     and the
    Switch soft key
     to navigate and make selections.
  3. Enter the appropriate info:
    • Label
    • Value (target extension)
      Pause dialing: While entering the speed dial phone number, enter a comma (,) to insert a short delay time before dialing the next number in the string. Extend the delay by entering more commas.
      Example: Entering a speed dial value of 9875551212,,,,,1234# will cause the desk phone to dial 9875551212, a moderate wait, then dial 1234#.
  4. Select
