ORBIC JOY - View / Extend Battery Life

Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine what uses the most power on your ORBIC® JOY.

View Battery Life

Open the

Settings app

Tap

Battery

Battery life is measured by standby time, talk time and data usage.

Review the current battery status.

The percentage indicates the remaining battery life, charging status and estimated time to fully charge.

The charging status and estimated time to fully charge only display if the device is connected to a charger.

Battery Usage

View the 'Advanced battery' usage details.

The 'Battery history' graph displays the time since it was last charged to 100%.

To improve battery life, you can:

Disable or uninstall apps (e.g., live wallpapers, etc.) that are consuming too much battery or RAM or aren't being used.

Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.

Adjust brightness to the lowest setting.

Turn off GPS when not in use.

If turned off, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Remove widgets that automatically update.
