ORBIC JOY - Turn App Permissions On / Off

Here's how to turn permissions for installed apps on your ORBIC JOY on or off.
  • Downloaded apps designed for Android™ only ask for permission the first time you use a feature rather than asking for permissions out of context.
  • Turning off certain permissions may result in basic features no longer working as intended.
  1. From a Home screen on your ORBIC® JOY, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap
    See all 'xx' apps
    .
  4. Tap the appropriate app.
  5. Tap
    Permissions
    .
  6. Tap the appropriate permission type to modify (e.g., Body Sensors, Microphone, Location, etc.).
  7. From the selected permission, tap access for the app (eg. 'Allow', 'Ask every time', 'Don't allow', etc.).
  8. If selecting 'Don't allow', from the 'If you deny this permission...' prompt, tap 'CANCEL' or 'DON'T ALLOW ANYWAY'.
