Before you begin

Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Apps
    See all apps
    .
  3. Do any of the following:
    • Reset an individual app:
      1. Locate then select the appropriate app.
      2. Tap
        Force stop
        .
      3. Tap
        OK
        .
      4. Tap
        Storage & cache
        .
      5. Tap
        Clear storage
        .
        This option may not be available for some apps.
      6. Tap
        Delete
        .
    • Reset All App Preferences
      1. Tap the
        Menu icon
        .
      2. Tap
        Reset app preferences
        .
      3. Tap
        Reset apps
        .
