Perform a Gmail Sync

Adjust Gmail™ sync settings on your Pixel 6a to stay on top of your email in real time. If preferred, you can also manually update your inbox, calendar, contacts, etc.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Passwords, passkeys & accounts
    .
  3. Tap the account name (email address).
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Tap the applicable data sync options (e.g., Contacts, Gmail Calendar, etc.) to turn on or off.
    To perform a manual sync:
    1. Tap the
      Menu icon
      .
    2. Tap
      Sync now
      .
