TCL TAB Disney Edition - Turn App Permissions On / Off

Here's how to turn permissions for installed apps on your TCL TAB Disney Edition on or off.
  • Turning off certain permissions may result in basic features no longer working as intended.
  • Downloaded apps designed for Android™ only ask for permission the first time you use a feature rather than asking for permissions out of context.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    SEE ALL 'xx' APPS
    .
  4. Tap the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Show system
    .
  5. Tap
    Permissions
    .
  6. Tap available permissions (e.g., Camera, Contacts, Location, etc.) to Allow only while using the app, Ask every time or Don't allow (selected with green dot).
    If turning off a permission, from the 'If you deny this permission...' prompt, tap 'CANCEL' or 'DON"T ALLOW ANYWAY'.
