TCL 30 LE - Customize Your Home Screen

Personalizing the Home screen on your TCL 30 LE makes daily tasks easier. Add, remove, or arrange apps, use widgets, or set a wallpaper that matches your style.

Add Apps

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Touch and hold the desired app.
  3. Drag-and-drop the app icon to the preferred Home screen location.
    For the app to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.

Add Widgets

  1. Touch and hold an empty area of a Home screen.
  2. Tap
    Widgets
    .
  3. Touch and hold a widget.
  4. Drag-and-drop the widget to the preferred Home screen location.
    For the widget to be successfully added, there must be enough space within the selected Home screen. If needed, more Home screen panels may be added.
  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate the widget.
    Options vary depending on the type of widget.

Add / Remove Folders

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a shortcut (e.g., Email).
  2. Drag-and-drop the shortcut onto another shortcut (e.g., Gmail).
    A folder containing the shortcuts is created (titled Unnamed Folder). To rename the folder
    1. Tap the folder.
    2. Tap the title bar at the top of the open folder.
    3. Enter a name then tap the
      Checkmark icon
      .
      To remove a folder, drag the app(s) out of an existing folder until the folder disappears.

Remove Apps / Widgets

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold the item (e.g., widget, shortcut, etc.).
  2. Drag-and-drop the item to 'Remove' at the top of the screen.

Set Wallpaper

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank space.
  2. From the onscreen prompt, tap
    Wallpapers
    .
  3. Select a wallpaper category (e.g., My photos, Recently used, etc.).
  4. Locate then tap the preferred picture then select an option:
    The available options vary depending on the selected wallpaper.
    • Edit Crop
    • Scroll
    • Set both
    • Done
