Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your TCL 30 LE to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages and connect to the internet.

Steps

  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     until the TCL logo appears then release. Select your language then tap
    Get Started
    .
  2. From the Privacy policy and Terms of Service screen, review then tap
    I Agree
    .
  3. From the Phone Activation screen, tap
    Next
    .
  4. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  5. To copy apps and data, tap
    Next
     to transfer your content now or tap
    Don't copy
    .
  6. Sign in to yourGoogle™ account or create a new one.
  7. Follow the onscreen prompts to review and accept the Google Service option (e.g., Gemini, Location, etc.).
  8. Set up a screen lock and face recognition to secure your device.
  9. To allow Verizon Services to collect Location and Apps info, tap
    Accept
    .
  10. Tap
    Accept
     to add addtional storage with Verizon Cloud or secure your device with Verizon Protect.
  11. From the 'Ready to go!' screen, tap
    Got It!
     to exit the device set up.
