Configure Stylus Settings

The stylus pen offers useful features (e.g., Open Moto Note, Open Keep Notes, Don't open anything, etc.), which you can customize to make navigating your moto g stylus 5G and taking notes more convenient.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Tap
    Stylus
    .
  3. From the Stylus removal section, do any of the following:
    • Tap
      When device is locked
       then select an option (e.g., Open Moto Note, Open Keep Notes, Don't open anything, etc.).
    • Tap
      When device is unlocked
       then select an option (e.g., Show shortcuts, Open an app, Show nothing, etc.).
  4. Tap the
    Back arrow icon
     in the upper left to return to the Stylus screen.
  5. Tap any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Removal reminder
    • Record last removal
    • Vibrate when inserted
