Block / Unblock NumbersBlocking certain numbers on your moto g stylus 5G stops unwanted calls and messages. If you can't receive calls or messages from specific numbers, verify they're not blocked.
Before you begin
Calls and messages from contacts or phone numbers added to the block list are automatically ignored. The call is forwarded to Voicemail and text / picture messages aren't delivered to the Messages app.
If calls from a specific number go directly to Voicemail but you're still able to receive text messages, ensure the contact isn't set to automatically route to Voicemail. To check this, tap
Contacts
, select the contact, tap the 3-dot Menu icon
then tap Unroute to voicemail
.Steps
- Open thePhone app.
- Tap the3-dot Menu icon.
- TapSettingsthen tapBlocked numbers.
- Do any of the following:
- To add a block:
- TapAdd a number.
- Enter the 10-digit number.
- TapBlock.
- To remove a block:
- Tap theRemove iconto the right of the desired contact.
- To confirm, tapUnblock.
