Add an Existing Google Account

Adding a Gmail™ (Google™) account to your Galaxy S22 / Galaxy S22 Ultra lets you access email, apps, and services, as well as sync your data across multiple devices.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Manage accounts
    Add account
    .
  3. Tap
    Google
    .
  4. Enter the email address for your Google account then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. If prompted to keep your account updated with the phone number, tap
    Yes, I'm in
     or skip this step.
  7. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
    .
  8. To keep the device backed up with your Google account, tap
    Turn on Backup
    .
  9. Select any of the additional options (recovery email, address, useful tips) then follow the onscreen instructions, otherwise tap
    Not now
    .
  10. From the Google services screen, tap the
    Back up device data switch
     to turn on or off then tap
    Accept
    .
