Turn App Permissions On / OffApps installed on your Pixel 6 / 6 Pro may request access to certain device features. You can review and change these permissions any time to suit your needs.
Steps
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate: .
- Select an app.
- TapPermissionsthen do any of the following:
- To allow an app permission:
- From the Not allowed section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
- Tap the applicable Allow option (e.g., Allow only while using the app, Ask every time, etc.)
- To deny an app permission:
- From the Allowed section, tap an available permission (e.g., Contacts, Location, etc.).
- TapDon't allow.
- If prompted, review the confirmation message then tapDon't allow anyway.
