Activate / Set Up Device

Activate your Pixel 6 / 6 Pro to get started. This ensures you can make calls, send messages and connect to the internet.

Before you begin

If using a physical SIM card, make sure a 5G SIM card is inserted into the device before powering on then select the SIM as the default cellular data number after setup is complete.

If the eSIM profile fails to download, refer to Download and Activate an eSIM after device setup is completed.

until the Google logo appears. Select your language, then tap

Connect to a Wi-Fi network.

To copy apps and data, tap

to transfer your content now.

From the Use another device screen, select an option.

Review the Google Services and device backup options, then tap

Review and accept the Verizon Services, limited warranty, and additional legal terms.

Set up a screen lock then add fingerprint recognition to secure your device.

Follow the onscreen prompts to set up additional Google features (e.g., Google Assistant, Google Pay, etc.).

Review the navigation gestures and tap
